The Helpful Links page serves as a quick index containing a number of useful links to resources for the Self-Determination Program. Comprised of a variety of formats from PDF documents, Websites, and YouTube videos, the index offers links to topic overviews, directories, and tools all valuable to the program. Along with offering resources serving the following Bay Area regional centers (Golden Gate Regional Center, Regional Center of the East Bay, and San Andreas Regional Center), the index also provides users with relevant links to state and nationwide resources. Additional information can also be found at the Department of Developmental Services (Self-Determination Program) and specific regional center websites.

This section includes information on the Self-Determination IPP process and topics specific to self-determination including Person Centered Planning, Facilitation, Budgeting, FMS, and the process of transitioning from the traditional model of services. There is a section on helpful PCP tools & worksheets. And there is a list of Directories for Facilitators, Planners, and FMS.

This section identifies advocate organizations and community groups that help you stayed informed about the program. From the Department of Developmental Services Ombudsperson to volunteer local advisory group members, there are many that serve as resources dedicated to assisting participants and families successfully transition to the Self-Determination Program.
